Computer Technician

 

Primary Duties:

 

  • Provide unclassified multimedia, video teleconferencing (VTC), and audio visual (AV) equipment support.
  • Provide guidance and training on how to properly use webcams, Defense Collaboration Services, Government Video Services, and Skype for Business
  • This support consists of VTC setup, hardware and software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, configuration support, administration, and scheduling of teleconferences as required.
  • Manage, maintain, and upgrade all multimedia, VTC, and AV equipment as required.
  • Provide primary support for VTC system training locally and remotely as required.
  • Ensure VTC and AV equipment is operational for scheduled meetings.
  • Provide AV setup and operations support as required to all official functions.
  • Support the certification and accreditation of all VTC systems for the various networks as directed by the government.
  • Provide sound technical, administrative, procedural, trouble-shooting, and VTC advice to meeting coordinators at the host (local) and far-end VTC locations.

 

Education / Certifications / Experience:

 

  • One to three years of experience in multimedia, VTC, and AV equipment support/maintenance.
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Organizational and management skills are a plus.
  • VTC setup, bridge, and video CODEC operation.
  • Provide Hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Configuration support.
  • Administration and scheduling of teleconferences.
  • CompTIA A+ CE Certification required, Security+ CE Certification preferred.

Job Function

  • Alternate for the Cybersecurity Liaison (CL) following current Air Force guidelines
  • Alternate for Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) KMI Operating Account Agent (KOAA)
  • Alternate Equipment Custodian (EC) for the COMSEC equipment
  • Assist with documenting security violations on the Non-secure Internet Protocol Routed Network (NIPRNet) or Secure Internet Protocol Routed Network (SIPRNet) and providing corrective action reports
  • Performs as the alternate COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO)
  • Assist with the completion of mandatory IT related checklists from the Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT)
  • Assist with the organizational COMPUSEC program, ensuring compliance with AFMAN 17-1301
  • Serve as one of the approving authority for user account creation, deletion, locking, unlocking and disabling of AFNet and SIPRNet user accounts
  • Assist with quarterly security training program ensuring that users comply with security requirements
  • Provide guidance and training ensuring user awareness concerning unauthorized or illegal use of computer hardware and software
  • Ensure users operate, maintain, and dispose of information systems according to the current system security policy and existing policy and procedures
  • Maintain and track tickets for NIPR and SIPR in the BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Maintain all authorized user access control documentation in the Electronic Records Management (ERM)
  • Assist with the research and completion of customer Government Purchase Card requests associated with security requirements as submitted through the local SharePoint site
  • Other duties as required

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Engineering
  • 3 – 5 years of job related experience within specialized field or similar area is required

  • Answer central office telephone line.
  • Monitor, enter, track and resolve tasking received through the automated ticket tracking system BMC Remedy Electronic IT Service Management (EITSM).
  • Develop, publish, and maintain a Continuity Folder describing specific task directions required to successfully complete the assigned duty functions.

  • Provides database design, client/server integration, database modeling, and support for systems under development.

Job Summary:

Work Schedule:

This position will require you to work until 5:30pm Monday – Friday, when we turn off our phones and close the office. You would need to come in at 8:30am if you want to take a lunch break, or 9:30am if you want to work through lunch and eat at your desk.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Title: Web Developer 

Job Summary: SIS is seeking an ideal individual with WEB Development skills necessary to accomplish organizational unique Communications and Information Systems support for AFLCMC Wright Patterson Air Force Base organizations for Information Technology (IT) functions.  The candidate shall execute the work assigned under this contract from the customer, AFLCMC corporate, and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) enterprise network perspective.  The candidate shall provide information, best practices, standardized processes, and standardized configuration and disseminate information across AFLCMC customers.  

 

Primary Duties: 

  • Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, CGI, and JavaScript) for a component of the website. 
  • Works with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website. 
  • Responsible for interface implementation. 
  • Integrates web applications with backend databases. 
  • Deploys large web-based transaction systems using applications servers. 
  • Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the integration of new products per production and client requirements. 
  • Requires strong navigation and site-design instincts.

 

Education / Certifications / Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline is highly desired
  • Will accept an A.S. Computer Science degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of computer experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintenance and management of Server 2012 (20+ virtual servers)
  • Systems Administration
  • Active Directory – account maintenance, scripting, and joining items to domain
  • Maintenance and management of print servers
  • Network testing and validation of Software updates/requests

  • Threat Management Gateway experience (TMGs)

Skills / Qualifications:
